Codez Picnic at Gloster Jute Mill
Life at Codez is never monotonous. Very recently on 28th Jan we had a fantastic picnic at Gloster Jute Mill, Bauria. We started from here at 8:30 a.m and reached Bauria at 10:30a.m. It was a beautiful place. The place was by the river side. The mill has a grand bungalow and more importantly for us it has three grounds.
We carried cricket kit with us and played for a long time. Smarajit made the highest score and as usual I was the most non economical bowler! After cricket we played badminton and Twister. It was a lot of fun. Dipak played Twister exceptionally well. He remained unbeaten. All thanks to his yoga lessons.
Then we had a delicious lunch. After the lunch all of us were divided into two groups and started playing dumb-charades. It was a lot of fun. We acted our level best and thus created some very funny moments as we tried to describe some movies.
In the evening we first visited the jute mill. The manager gave a long informative tour as we witnessed how raw jute was transformed into finished product.
Then we visited the Hanuman temple. The temple was looking beautiful in the evening because of the decorative lights. We pay our homage to Gods.
Then we had a light tiffin and returned home by car.
