Creating Fire Text Graphics
Here Is a step – by step tutorial to give your text the ‘burning’ effect.
Step-1 Create a new file width-300px and Height-200px
Step-2 Select Type Tool and type text with black color on white Background
Step-3 Select the text layer, right click on the text layer and select Rasterize Type
Step-4 Goto Edit- select Fill - Select Use : white (pick from the color picker) , Mode : multiply, Opacity – 100%
Step-5 Goto Filter, select Blur, select Gaussian blur. Enter the radius value 2. Click ok. The text will look like this :
Step-6 Goto Filter, select Stylize, select Solarize
Step-7 Goto Image, Select Adjustments, click on Levels, click on Auto in the box that opens , then click OK
Step-8 Goto Image, Select Image Rotation, select 90CW
Step-9 Goto Filter, Select Stylize, select Wind. click on OK. Press Ctrl+F to apply this effect twice
Step-10 Goto Image, Select Image Rotation, select 90CCW
Step-11 Make a duplicate of this layer. Select the layer, right click on layer and select Duplicate Layer, rename as COPYlayer, click on OK
Goto Image, Select Adjustments, click on Hue/ Saturation, tick the colorize box, Change Hue – 40, Saturation – 100 Lightness – 0 , then click OK
Step-12 Make COPYlayer Invisible by clicking on the eye next to it, and select the original layer.
Step-13 Goto Image, Select Adjustments, click on Hue/ Saturation, tick the colorize box, Change Hue – 34, Saturation – 84 Lightness – 0 , then click OK
Step-14 Select COPYLayer and make it visible , by bringing the eye back
Step-15 Right click on COPYLayer, Select Blending Options. Under General Blending – Blend Mode – Select Overlay. Click on OK
