Digital Dot Effect
Step-1 : Open any image
Step-2: Then Duplicate the Layer clicking Ctrl+j.
Step-3: Select the New Layer. Then go to Filter-Pixelate- Mosaic. Make the Cell Size 8 square.
Step-4: Apply a Find Edges filter on the image. Go to Filter- Stylize-Find Edges.
Step-5: Next you apply a Median filter. Go to Filter- Noise- Median. Make the Radius 2 pixels.
Step-6 : Select Maximum filter option. Go to Filter- Other- Maximum .Use a Radius of 1 pixel.
Step-7: In this step you Invert the image. Go to Image- Adjustments-Invert.
Step-8 : Now Duplicate the top layer. Go to Layer-Duplicate Layer or press Ctrl+J. Then go to blending mode and choose Screen.
Step-9: Then apply a Find Edges option to the image. To do this go to Filter-Stylize- Find Edges.
Step-10:In the final step, go to Image-Adjustment-Invert.This will invert the image and create the Digital Dot Effect.
