ou can duplicate the layer by selecting Layer menu, select Duplicate Layer. In the dialog box, give the name of Layer 1. Override background layer with white using the Paint Bucket Tool. Then remove the white background in layer 1 by using the magic wand tool and press Delete on the keyboard.
